About five to six hummingbirds visit our feeder. They’ve finally decided not to fight over it. Most of the time.
I think they’re magnificent hummingbirds, which would be fitting. They are about 5 inches long and appear to be a solid, iridescent black.
I’ve also seen a few smaller, bright green hummers and a bananaquit perching on it. I can’t tell whether the latter is getting a sip or is frustrated by the tiny feeder holes.
